CATHOLIC CEMETERIES

Support Our Cemeteries

At Catholic Cemeteries, we value helping you and your family give your loved one a final resting place, whether through a burial ceremony or selecting an urn and a sacred niche to place the remains.

As a non-profit organization, we thoughtfully care for each step of the funeral process, from cremation to reception. Donations can make a significant difference in continuing to provide the level of care and attention to detail we are known for from our cemeteries in the Ottawa and Cornwall area.

Contributions help us make incremental improvements, such as preserving and maintaining our grounds, services, and community programs.

How about this.  You may want to reduce the length of the text.  I wanted you to read the number 1 reason we need donations.  What are your thoughts?

At Catholic Cemeteries, we are committed to helping you and your family honour your loved ones with dignity and compassion. Whether through a traditional burial ceremony or by selecting an urn and sacred niche for cremated remains, we are here to support you every step of the way.

As a charitable organization, we take great care in overseeing each aspect of the funeral process with respect, integrity, and attention to detail.

Many of our cemeteries were inaugurated well before the enactment of provincial legislation that requires contributions to a care and maintenance fund. As a result, no funds were set aside for any of the lots sold prior to this legislation. Today in Ontario, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of a burial lot or niche is allocated to a care and maintenance fund. The purpose of this fund is to ensure the long-term care and preservation of our cemeteries for generations to come.

We encourage and welcome your support. Donations play a vital role in continuing the standard of care we are known for throughout the Ottawa and Cornwall region. Your contributions help us:

  • Preserve and maintain cemetery grounds
  • Improve facilities and infrastructure
  • Support bereavement and community programs

Every gift, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact. Thank you for helping us protect and sustain these sacred spaces.
