We offer a variety of traditional and niche headstones and monuments, including clear-door monuments designed to display your urn.
Cremation
Notre Dame Cemetery (Cornwall) offers on-site cremation for Catholics and people of other faiths and cultures. Cremation takes place with reverence and respect for Catholic tradition. Cremated remains may be buried or placed in a monument (niche).
Selecting a Final Resting Place
Notre Dame Cemetery (Cornwall) has an open garden for burials. If you plan to cremate your loved one, we also have a mausoleum.
Tributes and Decorations
It is becoming common to add personal touches to memorials. We offer floral monument saddles, bronze emblems, flower arrangements, and porcelain plates. We also accept donations of trees and benches, which can be engraved in memoriam.

- All interments include a $30.00 BAO fee

Exterior Graves/Tombes extérieures
- The interment rights do not include the memorialization of the grave or the opening and closing of the grave/niche.
- Each adult grave is suitable for up to three interments, in one of the following combinations:
- One casket and 2 cremated remains or three cremated remains.
- All casket Interment Rights are single depth, without exception.
- Cremation graves are suitable for 1 single urn or 1 companion urn

CARE AND MAINTENANCE FUND CONTRIBUTION
As required under the Funeral, Burial and Cremations Services Act 2002 and Ontario Regulation 30/11, the amounts below will be contributed to an irrevocable trust fund known as the Care and Maintenance Fund/Account. Income (interest) from this fund is used to cover care and maintenance expenses of the cemetery in perptuity.
For one full grave = 40% of the purchase price
One child or cremation grave = 40% of the purchase price
One columbarium or niche = 15% of the purchase price

Care and Maintenance Fund Contribution: As required under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002, the following amounts must be paid to the cemetery operator before a marker is installed. After each marker installation, the amount will be contributed to an irrevocable trust fund known as the Care and Maintenance Fund. Foundations for Memorial Benches:
Foundation length is the same as the length of the space between the legs of the bench.
- All monument foundations will be 6” wider & longer on all sides than the maximum dimension of the base of the monument on all sides. (except for 36” base on single lot)
- All bases sold with monuments shall not exceed 12” of length or width of monument.
- All foundations must end 2” away from the edge of lot.
